Rosa Parks
At that time in the USA the law said that on the bus the white passengers were sitting in the front seats and the black passengers were at the back seats.
Rosa Parks went to the front seats being a black passenger.
When the white passengers boarded the bus Rosa Parks refused to give them the seat.
For that she was taken to jail.
Kia ora Dasha,
ReplyDeleteGreat work on completing another Summer Learning Journey activity. There is only one more day left to get those activities done and gain those points so keep blogging and commenting.
Well done on writing an in depth and descriptive recount of what Rosa Parks did to stand up for herself as well as others of the same race. I am glad that we live in a world now that is more open and accepting of others. Do you think you would have the courage to stand up for something you believe in?
Until next time, happy blogging :)

I believe in God because I go to the church. If someone says something bad about God I will stand up for Him.
